Ageing starts at the ends of our chromosomes.

Aulando's formula is built on one idea: look after the cell, and the cell looks after you. Here is the research behind it, with sources you can check.

What a telomere is

A telomere is a stretch of repeating DNA at the end of each chromosome. It works like the plastic tip on a shoelace, stopping the ends from fraying or tangling.

Each time a cell divides, its telomeres get slightly shorter. Eventually they become so short that the cell can no longer divide, and it dies.

In a study of centenarians, those in good health had significantly longer telomeres than those in poor health.1

Researchers at Boston University measured telomere length in 38 people aged 100 and over. Longer telomeres went with better physical and medical health, which is why telomere length is now widely studied as a marker of healthy ageing.

MeliusCel® and New Zealand pine bark

The main ingredient of MeliusCel® is Enzogenol®, a water-based extract from the bark of Pinus radiata trees grown in New Zealand. It is rich in natural antioxidants called proanthocyanidins.

In an animal study, telomeres in the Enzogenol® group were 44% longer than in the control group after 7.5 months of supplementation (p = 0.03).2

Its production, composition and safety have been described in a peer-reviewed toxicology study, which found no toxicity at the doses tested.3

How it comes together

Healthier cells process nutrients and clear waste more efficiently. The formula is designed around that.

Protect

MeliusCel® supports the maintenance of telomere length, the part of the cell that shortens with age.

Nourish

100:1 deer placenta brings proteins, peptides and growth factors in a concentrated, smaller capsule.

Support

Eight nutrients add antioxidants, cellular energy, skin support and minerals for bones.

Research in New Zealand

Aulando works with researchers at the University of Auckland and the University of Otago. Pine bark extract itself has been studied in New Zealand and Australia, including a controlled trial on memory and attention in men aged 50 to 65.4
